Was dich erwartet:

Training Cycle in Transpersonal Music Therapy and Therapy of Expanded States of Consciousness

For personal, professional, and spiritual development

We present to you this training cycle in music therapy and the therapeutic use of expanded states of consciousness, aimed at fostering personal, professional, and spiritual growth.
The program is structured into three modules, each consisting of two weekendsof theoretical and practical work.

Optionally, the course can be extended with an additional module focused on the construction of a therapeutic instrument.

This training is intended for:

  • Therapists (psychologists, music therapists, psychotherapists, social therapists, art therapists)
  • Individuals seeking a broader, deeper, and more spiritual approach to therapeutic work
  • Musicians, artists, coaches, and facilitators interested in using sound as a transformative tool

Approach and Origins

The Sound TranceFormation course (Training in Sound and Trance States) is based on over 38 years of clinical and therapeutic experience in psychiatry, psychotherapy, and music therapy.
Dr. Peter Hess has developed a new form of receptive music therapy, known as Gong Therapy (Gong Ritual©), inspired by therapeutic psychedelic experiences (such as those by Stanislav Grof and Richard Yensen) and traditional shamanic rituals.

The key difference is that, in this approach, expanded states of consciousness are accessed through sound, making their integration safer and more accessiblewithin the context of contemporary Western society.

The archaic instruments used in the sound journeys reconnect us with both the prenatal experience (the womb) and the ancestral roots of humanity, allowing us to transcend duality and embrace a new vision of consciousness from a deeply experiential and transpersonal perspective.

Teaching Team

  • Joel Olivé – Music therapist, luthier, and musician
